Then if it can be read in the Sabrent drive, there's a good chance the problem is head alignment. You can test for this by taking an unneeded disk and unconditionally formatting it to completely erase it. It's possible the head alignment of the Sabrent drive is different from that of the drive that was used for copying the photos to the floppy disks. Never put floppy disks containing valuable data into a floppy drive without first testing it with a disk you don't need because a bad floppy drive can literally scrape the data off the disk. These are the actions I have already tried with no succesģ. The floppy will detect and read disks on boot up. I have attempted to format the disk when prompted and format will run, but as it reaches the point where it will normally finish I receive a message saying the disk could not be formatted. I still get the disk not formatted error. I am experiencing a floppy drive problem, no matter if a disk is formatted or not whenever I try to access a floppy disk I receive an error stating "the disk is not formatted do you wish to format now." I have even tried to access the floppy drive without a disk in the drive which would normally result in a message saying the disk is inaccessible.
